We’re teaming up with Red Bull Day in the Dirt! This is a little different than usual but we know the founders, Kenny and Amber Alexander, and they’ve given us the thumbs up to provide the kids the love and attention you deserve for a weekend of fun! If you don’t know much about Red Bull Day in the Dirt, It’s a gathering of family and friends and what they love most – dirt bikes.  It attracts the greats, the near-greats and the not-so-greats, but also the Hollywood stunt community and moto fanatics worldwide. Please head to their website to learn more about the fastest party in town.

Gates open: at 6:30 AM. PLEASE HAVE GATE FEES READY TO EXPEDITE ENTRY – one, two, and three day gate passes are purchased at the entry gate. Camping spots (IF AVAILABLE) may also be purchased at the entry gate. Wristbands must be worn at all times, if you do not have one on you will be escorted to the front gate to purchase one.

Moto 4 Kids Racing Happy Hour Practice Session (VET/REM Track)

This is your chance to get the track wired. You pay a sum of $25 (onsite) for a sticker for your number plate that gets you on the track. No sticker, no go.  For race participants only!

10:00 AM – 65cc & 85cc Practice (includes Girls Class riders on 65cc & 85cc machines)
10:40 AM – 50cc (all)
11:20 AM – KLX/CRF/TTR 70cc-110cc

RIDER: $100 – 65cc & above motorcycles.
$50 discount will be applied when you use promo code “MOTO4KIDS” at time of check out.
Includes riding/track access, exclusive event apparel and FREE camping.

MINI RIDERS: $25 – 50cc Motorcycles.

Includes special access to the minibike tracks for kids of all ages. Bring your own bike or experience a different ride with demo bikes available from KTM, Stacyc or Strider bikes.

SPECTATOR: $25
Includes general access to the event, no riding.

Following its recent introduction, the Ryan Dungey Foundation, the new nonprofit organization established by the nine-time AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross Champion, announces plans for its first fundraising event. Opportunity Awaits, a ride day for everyone, will take place on Saturday, September 18, from Southern California’s Fox Racing. Registration to get involved in this special event is now open for Moto 4 Kids Racing active participants and families.

“Opportunity Awaits is the culmination of a shared passion amongst each and every one of us in the motocross and greater two-wheeled community,” said Dungey. “It serves as a unique way to celebrate the way riding makes us feel, while also providing an environment that allows us to share that passion with those who have yet to discover it. This approach is also what embodies the efforts from the team at Moto 4 Kids Racing, who have made a commitment to giving opportunities for budding young racers, a chance to shine in an organized, professional-style racing series. With their experience and mutual passion for the sport, hopefully we can come together and help foster a new generation of riders and ensure our industry can continue to grow for years to come.”

Moto 4 Kids Racing Founder John Simanovich explains of his involvement, “Ryan and I both believe its important to invest back into the industry that has provided us so much, with the hope that we can get more kids on two wheels.”

We hope that you will join the Moto 4 Kids Racing Team in support of Opportunity Awaits at Fox Raceway. Riders will enjoy one of Southern California’s premier tracks while kids will have the chance to climb aboard a variety of demo bikes from event supporters KTM, STACYC, and Strider. Best of all, with your support, all the valuable funds raised will further drive their commitment to helping children live a healthy lifestyle and support the fight against childhood cancer.

The beneficiaries of the Ryan Dungey Foundation are St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a world-renowned pediatric treatment and research facility focused on catastrophic disease in children, and All Kids Bike, a national movement to place Kindergarten PE Learn-to-Ride program into public schools, for free.

EVENT Q&A:

  • What are the COVID precautions?  We are looking forward to our ride day and the safety of our community is a top priority.  We will follow any local guidelines and the guidelines determined from our hosts at Fox Raceway.  Please see Fox Raceway Website for more information. 
  • Will there be camping available? Fox Raceway has dry camping available.  With the purchase of a Ryan Dungey Foundation Rider Ticket camping is included.  Please follow the raceways camping guidelines and hours of operation for entry.
  • Will there be rider schedules on Ride Day? There will be designated practice groups and times assigned by bike size for the vet track.  Assigned times will be given at registration on event day.
  • What if I do not ride a motorcycle, I can still join on event day?  The Ryan Dungey Foundation Opportunity Awaits, a ride day for everyone, is open to all riders and spectators.   We do have spectator tickets available for purchase.  Our event partners Stacyc and Strider will be offering demos for kids on event day.  For access to demo bikes you can purchase a Mini Rider ticket.
